Leonie Brinkema, a federal judge in Alexandria, Virginia, issued an order on Friday that froze the transfer of $1.8 billion into a new government payout fund. The "Anti-Weaponization Fund" was designed by acting attorney general Todd Blanche to compensate what the administration calls "victims of lawfare."
